The members of John Toohey Chambers welcome Jon Papalia. Jon commenced with JTC on 2 February 2024.
Jon has a wide-ranging national practice in public and administrative law across State, Territory and Federal jurisdictions. He regularly appears in the Administrative Appeals Tribunal and the Federal Court of Australia, as well as other Federal, State and Territory courts and tribunals.
Jon is regularly briefed by Government and public agencies as well as corporate and individual clients. He has experience across a range of subject matter, including regulatory proceedings, environment matters, professional disciplinary proceedings, migration and social security.
Between October 2015 and December 2017, Jon was the Associate to the Hon Justice Fiannaca at the Supreme Court of Western Australia.
Jon accepts briefs in the following areas of law: Administrative; Appeals; Constitutional Law; Coronial Inquiries; Criminal Law; Disciplinary Tribunals.
